Rising number doubt honesty among scientists

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of American Adults shows that 69% say it’s at least somewhat likely that some scientists have falsified research data in order to support their own theories and beliefs, including 40% who say this is Very Likely. Twenty-two percent (22%) don’t think it’s likely some scientists have falsified global warming data, including just six percent (6%) say it’s Not At All Likely. Another 10% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here .)

The number of adults who say it’s likely scientists have falsified data is up 10 points from December 2009.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with the extraordinary recent scandals in science, persecutions of dissenters, or abysmal failure of peer review.

No! It’s all to do with the fact that ignorant members of the public don’t have rational minds or free will.

The government needs to vote the people out of office and elect a new “pro-science” public that would never think they had any right to question such things.

Origin of The Species

Many creationist fear reading evolutionary literature. Yet, whatever their reason I believe the bottom line would involve a “fear factor”. Being firm in a belief system is a challenge especially if one is not firmly rooted. I for one would encourage everyone to read Charles Darwin’s book “Origin of The Species’. After reading this book based upon a naturalist view of the world made me even more sure of my belief in an intelligent being responsible for what we see around us. We are more educated now in biology and recent science proves that Darwin was more than “off the mark” with his famous book. It almost seems to me that he got caught up in a fantasy world that he controlled by accepting some facts, denied the rest and poof we have “evolution “

Vestige Parts

Vestige Parts

  1. Vestige Parts Biology. a degenerate or imperfectly developed organ or structure that has little or no utility, but that in an earlier stage of the individual or in preceding evolutionary forms of the organism performed a useful function.
  2. Do vestige parts really exist?
  3. How do we identify a vestige part?
  4. Has a vestige part ever been observed being completely eliminated from and organism that carried around that vestige part?
  5. How do we know that the vestige part is not adding a function to the organism in order to make it more fit according to natural selection? {in other words, “How do we know that it is not going the other direction?”}
  6. Darwin mentions ostrich wings in his book “Origin of the Species” that they are a vestige part which serves nor little purpose. He then goes on to explain;

  1. It’s interesting that Darwin assumes that all wings are good for is flight. He then goes on to “fantasize” how the wings became useless according to his “Natural Selection” that he is trying to sell the public and indeed did do a fantastic job. However if he would of just thought on the subject a little further before coming to an erroneous conclusion it might have saved him some intellectual embarrassment.
  2. Let’s examine the ostrich wing and see what function is serves.
    1. The wings have a function. Some possible functions, depending on the species of flightless bird, are: balance while running, cooling in hot weather, warmth in cold weather, protection of the ribcage during falls, mating rituals, scaring predators (emus will run at perceived enemies of their chicks, mouth open and wings flapping), sheltering of chicks, etc. If the wings are useless, why are the muscles functional, allowing these birds to move their wings?
    2. Has this evidence changed the irrational evolutionist?
      1. the following is an article from an evolutionist site called “TalkOrigins.org” They are still referring to ostrich wings as “vestige”
      2. The following article is taken from an online encyclopedia called wikipedia.org this article also boasts about vestige parts being evidence for evolution.
      3. It indeed is interesting that evolutionist will tell you that the ostrich “lost its ability to fly” or “became incapable of flight” when in fact they never had a record of them flying in the first place!        Even according to the evolutionist!
        1. {quote from evolutionist site}
          1. i.      Just as a side point these same evolutionist claim that humans evolved 5 to 7 million years ago compare that with the ostrich 55 to 40 million years ago.
          2. ii.      Although they have had more time to evolve than a human by 50 million years or so, ostriches are supposedly in a transition stage according to the scientist of evolution.
          3. Let’s answer our questions we asked at the beginning.
            1. Do vestige parts really exist?
              1. i.      Not according to our evidence here
  3. How can we identify a vestige part?
    1. i.      Your guess is as good as mine
  4. Has a vestige part ever been observed being completely eliminated from an organism in order to make it more fit for natural selection?
    1. i.      NO!
  5. Can an ostrich do without its wings?
    1. i.      Ha ha ha
    2. Of course these die hard evolutionists will not stop there they have a whole list of “vestige parts” That they claim has no purpose or function including but not limited to.
      1. Skin on Your eyeballs
      2. Your tonsils
      3. Your appendix
      4. Your tailbone
      5. And many more
      6. I suppose your arms, legs and possibly other parts of your body would be considered “vestige” according to the evolutionary scientist at some point in time.
        1. You don’t need them to live so what the hay, lets cut them off!
        2. You first Mr. Evolutionary Scientist!
        3. However if you really “Think” and think hard you will find a use for what these sci-fi writers call “Vestige Parts”
